Artist Sweta Chandra exhibiting her present series of work on urban life which mimics the constant interaction of humans with the natural habitat, Where the silhouette are defined by the urban space.
Note : For Sweta, textures have always been inspiring and the triggering factor to initiate the work. She have been actively exploring canvas and vinyl board or wood with acrylic medium. The process of painting has a constant play of textures to the subject matter which emerges and diverges giving rise to illusion in space. The background is what interests her to put forward her idea. The present series of work are on urban life which mimics the constant interaction of humans with the natural habitat. Where the silhouette are defined by the urban space.
Note : A Parallel world shows surreal paintings done by Artist Abhijit Saikia. These works speak of alternate ecosystems, that are sustainable and beautiful. There is a discount attached to a few paintings as well.
